I invite you to come fish in paradise with coastal adventures. We will target Chinook (Kings) & Coho, (Silvers) Salmon with light tackle in remote areas that see very little fishing pressure. We target these salmon in the most remote areas that see very little angling pressure. While fishing, humpback whales often breach playfully in the background. You will see countless seabirds, seals, otters, and the occasional deer & bear sighting. And if you are fortunate, you might see the school of Pacific White-Sided Dolphins that numbers in the thousands as they pass through our area. Watching them as they surf, play & do acrobatics in the wake of your boat is an unforgettable, life-changing experience and often the highlight of the fishing trip. On the waters of British Columbia’s “Inside Passage” there are countless islands & inlets that form a natural breakwater that protects anglers from the groundswells of the open Pacific Ocean. The central coast of BC is in a unique location where the tides, wind & current push nutrients up from the depths of the ocean. As a result, the sea life congregates here. There are over 60 species of fish and almost 200 types of marine invertebrates and in particular the baitfish & food for the salmon. We are home to the best salmon fly fishing as well as The best light tackle fishing on the coast in calm water. There could be no better salmon fishing vacation.

May 15 – June 15 | Chinook Salmon

Spring, and time for some adventure. Let us take you to the inlets, home of the waterfalls that fall from the sky. We fish with light tackle for Chinook Salmon , in smooth water this time of year. Many creatures of the fin, feather, and fur start to appear, including the local Black Bears.

June-15 - July 15 | Coho Salmon, Whales

Some of my very favorite spots just light right up with surface action fly fishing( Bucktailing ) for bright beautiful Coho Salmon. The migrating chinook start to pass by in large numbers and the warming surface waters spur on a spawn of algae that attracts bait fish, and Whales to the coastline.

Shearwater Area

July 20 - August 20 | TYEE TIME!

August and it is time to be in certain places to fish for very large Chinook Salmon with light tackle, these fish start showing along the coastline in all the traditional spots and can be taken on light tackle. This trip is for the ardent angler with the patients to wait these giants out!. Our custom-built 26 foot Bridgewater Marine walk-around boat was built for this fishery. Pro guide Ken Loewen has been there done that!

August 24 - September 10 | Northern Coho Salmon

August 24 – September 10 it’s the celebration of the famous northern wild Cohoup to twenty pounds as they return in abundant numbers, and whales beyond belief. This is one of my favorite seasons as the Coho Salmon fish can be unbelievable.

September 10 - October 10 | Sasquatch Tours

That’s right, we do Sasquatch and wildlife scenery tours.

New Condo in Shearwater!

For those that like to be ashore at night, cook their own food or perhaps eat at the pub!

Prices include ten hours of fishing and accommodation in our two-bedroom condo. Food and drinks can be purchased at the store in Shearwater.

Fish Shearwater area with Pro Guide Ken Loewen on the Tyee Spirit based on party of three $1,800.00 daily. Does not include applicable taxes, conservation fees, or airfare.
Ocean Front Two bedroom condo available for $400.00 a night.
